Within 10 days of bringing home your puppy<\/strong>, you must take him or her to a licensed veterinarian<\/strong> for a full examination. If your vet determines during that visit that your puppy is clinically ill, or has passed away from an illness or injury likely contracted before the date of sale or delivery<\/em>, please contact us immediately.<\/p>

We guarantee that every puppy we send home is in excellent health<\/strong>, free of infectious, contagious, or communicable diseases<\/strong> at the time of adoption.<\/p>

\u2764\ufe0f Our Commitment to You<\/h3>

We believe that our relationship doesn\u2019t end when your puppy goes home \u2014 it\u2019s just beginning. As long-time breeders, puppy counselors, and lifelong dog lovers, we do everything in our power to raise strong, happy, healthy puppies. However, we acknowledge that some factors \u2014 such as genetics, environment, diet, exercise, and individual care \u2014 are beyond anyone\u2019s full control.<\/p>

While we cannot promise your puppy will never encounter a health issue, we do promise to do our utmost to start them off on the healthiest path possible.<\/p>

\ud83d\udc36 One-Year Genetic Health Coverage<\/h3>

In the rare and heartbreaking event that your puppy passes away within one year from their birth date<\/strong> due to a genetic or hereditary condition<\/strong>, or is diagnosed with a serious congenital health disorder within that same timeframe, we will offer a replacement puppy of equal value<\/strong> at no cost to you<\/strong>. A certified diagnosis and cause of death must be provided by a licensed veterinarian<\/strong>.<\/p>

We understand that a puppy can never truly be “replaced,” but we hope a new furry companion can help ease the pain.<\/p>

\ud83d\udccb What We Need from You<\/h3>

Nothing brings us more joy than seeing our puppies happy and healthy in their new homes. To help us support your puppy\u2019s wellness journey, we ask the following:<\/p>

  • Veterinary Checkup:<\/strong> Please have your puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 4 business days<\/strong> of receiving them.<\/p><\/li>

  • Submit Records:<\/strong> Email us a copy of the medical exam for our records.<\/p><\/li>

  • Vaccination Note:<\/strong> Your Maltese puppy will already have received age-appropriate vaccines. Please do not administer any new vaccines within the first 10 days<\/strong> after arrival.<\/p><\/li>

  • Ongoing Care:<\/strong> Continue regular deworming and wellness exams through at least 16 weeks of age<\/strong>, or as your veterinarian recommends.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    \ud83d\udeab Exceptions to the Health Guarantee<\/h3>

    To ensure fairness and transparency, please note the following exceptions:<\/p>

    • We cannot guarantee size, weight, color, coat type, markings, temperament, conformation<\/strong>, or breeding ability<\/strong>.<\/p><\/li>

    • No replacements will be given for hip dysplasia<\/strong> if your puppy becomes overweight<\/strong>, as this is often environmental.<\/p><\/li>

    • Failure to provide regular vet care<\/strong> or timely vaccinations will void the guarantee.<\/p><\/li>

    • We do not cover any costs related to spaying, neutering<\/strong>, or conditions such as undescended testicles<\/strong>.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

      \ud83e\ude7a Pre-Departure Health Check<\/h3>

      Before coming home, your puppy undergoes a detailed veterinary health check<\/strong>, which includes an evaluation of:<\/p>

      • Cardiovascular system<\/p><\/li>

      • Skin & Coat<\/p><\/li>

      • Eyes, Ears, Mouth, Teeth, Gums<\/p><\/li>

      • Musculoskeletal & Respiratory health<\/p><\/li>

      • Urogenital and Gastrointestinal systems<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

        This exam is performed close to the departure date to ensure a recent, up-to-date health report<\/strong>, which we thoroughly review for any concerns.<\/p>
